The SMS B 110, launched in 1915, was a German destroyer belonging to the B 109 class. These were large destroyers for their time, armed with six
550-millimeter torpedo tubes and four 88-millimeter cannons. They fought in Jutland and in other actions in the North Sea, the English Channel and the
Baltic. All of them ended their days in Scapa Flow, scuttled together with the rest of the German High Seas Fleet in June 1919. The illustration
shows the B 110 as she was in 1915, painted in black and armed with the 88-millimeter cannons that would be replaced in 1916.
