About this website (Ship Pictures by Sakhalia Net Project)
The Military and Naval History repository has been founded and curated by Sakhalia Net Project. The collection comprises,
among other elements, a large number of high-resolution and photorealistic blueprints and illustrations of many historical
ships. The largest part of the pictures displayed in this website are drawings or illustrations rather than photographs,
and they are of high resolution, in diverse qualities. This website is not devoted to detailed explanations of the featured ships,
as such can be found in many places throughout the internet. The purpose of this project is to be a source of high quality
graphic material in the field of Naval History, which unfortunately is not abundant enough.
